This is the privacy policy for our public website at we-shi.com. It does not cover the applications and systems we build for clients. Those are governed by the privacy policies of the businesses that operate them.
What we collect from website visitors
We do not collect personal information from people who visit we-shi.com. Specifically:
- No cookies on your device.
- No tracking pixels.
- No analytics tools.
- No third-party scripts watching your session.
- No IP address logging or behavioural tracking.
The only place anything personal is exchanged is the contact form, which composes an email in your own mail client. The data does not pass through a server we operate. You decide whether to send the message.
Server infrastructure
We host on Amazon Web Services in Canada and the eastern United States. Because we do not collect data from visitors, server region does not affect your privacy on this site.
Client work
Any personal data we touch as part of an engagement with a client is governed by that client’s privacy policy and our contract with them. We act as a service provider, and we follow the data-handling practices the engagement requires.
Sharing
We share nothing about visitors because we collect nothing.
Security
We maintain appropriate technical and organizational measures for our own infrastructure and for any client data entrusted to us during an engagement. The detail is on the security page.
Your rights
Because we do not collect data from visitors, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete in connection with browsing this site. If you have written to us through the contact form or by email and want that correspondence removed from our records, write to soc2 (at) we-shi.com.
Changes
If we begin collecting visitor data in the future, this policy will say so plainly, with a new effective date.
